Who are Orchard End?
Orchard End was established in 1993 to provide high quality residential care for Adults with Learning Disabilities in the Gloucester area.
Starting with the original Orchard End home - located in the rural village of Minsterworth, near Gloucester - the company saw demand for its services grow and, over the years carefully selected and added more homes, whilst still retaining the essence of what made Orchard End so good in the first place.
The group now consists of seven residential care homes and one supported living home (55 beds), for service users with a variety of learning disabilities / mental health disorders with associated challenging behaviours / complex needs. Three of the residential homes and the supported living home are located in the beautiful, peaceful Gloucestershire countryside, the other two residential homes are just a mile from the Gloucester city centre.
Our other home, Beechcroft in Cheltenham supports four adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Choice Ltd purchased Orchard End in February 2004 and The Truecare Group in Hampshire in June 2004 which have collectively become The Choice Care Group.
